MEET TIGER SHARKS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN

Climbing Areas

Within the Montserrat massif there are over 4000 climbing routes scattered amongst its conglomorate rock faces and pinnacles. The first climbers started to ascend Montserrats most striking rock formations in the early 1900's.

Well known for its unusual rock, Montserrat is a unique and vast climbing school where you can find a bit of everything for everyone and enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountain at the same time...

Hikes

Montserrat is an intricate maze of paths, forests, rock formations and caves that cover an area of 10 km by 5km.

Within this peculiar 'island' there are a variety of hikes and walks that take us below the towering vertical rock faces of the north side of the mountain or along the olive groves and up the narrow valleys of the southern side.

Walks in Montserrat can be leisurely, flat and relaxing, historical and informative, or scrambles up and down the peaks and through the forested valleys and ravines of the mountain, depending on personal preferences...

Multi Pitch Climbs

Every one of the thousands of conglomorate rock needels that make up Montserrat have climbing routes to their summits and most of them have more than one.

These routes encompass multipitch (2 or 3 pitch) sport climbing ascencions to extremely difficult (A5 or grade 7º )longer routes(300meters).

We find ourselves presented with thousands of asencions where the possibilities are endless, serving beginner climbers to climbers with a very high level of expertise.
